Joining instructions

Instructions for poster presentations:

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary copyright / permissions for all material.
  • Posters should be prepared no larger than A0 in size (84.1 x 118.9 cm / 33.1 x 46.8 inches), in a portrait format.
  • Poster presentations will also be presented as a 1-minute flash presentation on Wednesday 10 April 2024, the session starts at 12:15pm. Please create a 1-slide summary of your poster presentation to support your flash presentation and email it to vivien.thomas@iop.org by 5 April 2024.
Instructions for invited, contributed and exhibitor speakers:

  • We invite you to transfer your presentation slides to the session computer during the break preceding your talk, and we recommend that you check for correct presentation of your files - in particular if they contain videos or other animated items.

Instructions for flash poster presentations:

  • The 1-slide summary will be pre-loaded onto the room computer.

Speaker timings:

  • Invited speakers: 30 mins (25 min talk + 5 min Q&A)
  • Contributed speakers: 15 mins (12 min talk + 3 min Q&A)
  • Poster presentations: 1 min flash presentation on Wednesday 10 April 2024, session starts at 12:15pm
  • Exhibitor flash presentation: max 3 mins (no Q&A) on Thursday 11 April 2024, session starts at 10:30am
