Abstract Submission


The deadline date to submit poster and oral presentations has now passed.

There are bursaries available to attend the conference and more information can be found on the registration page.

Poster prizes will be awarded during the conference, sponsored by the RSC Energy Sector Interest Group.

During your submission (for invited, oral, and poster presentations), please upload a summary of your abstract, no more than 300 words in length. The summary will be included in the programme. Also upload your technical abstract, please follow the instructions below. 

Guidelines for completing your technical abstract:

  • Use the abstract template and submit it online by clicking on the link further down this page
  • Length: 1 A4 page including all figures and references 
  • File format: PDF
  • Page layout: A4 paper (N.B. not US letter). 25mm margins, no page numbers or running heading/footers
  • Title: include the full title in the submissions file, do not use all caps, typed in bold font size 11
  • Font: 11pt Arial
  • Authors and affiliations: include full names and all co-authors and corresponding affiliations, with presenting author underlined, font size 11
  • Abstract text: single line spaced
  • Abstract figures/references: include an informative caption for any figure, scheme or illustration in your abstract.

  6. Photovoltaic systems, solar irradiance and monitoring, components and grid integration
  7. Policy & environment issues, including economics, sustainability, market development and life cycle analysis
